On November 12th, 2021, SPI Advisory, LLC decided to give back to those less fortunate by volunteering at Feed My Starving Children.
About Feed My Starving Children
Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit working toward eliminating child hunger across the world. To do so, they’ve created a food formula with nutritious supplements that allow malnourished children to develop to their full potential and a system that helps them get these meals from the US to these kids in need. In order to reach as many hungry kids as they can, they rely on donations to fund the ingredients of the meals, and volunteers to hand-pack them.
Their packing sessions tend to run 2 hours - volunteers are split into teams with the name of one of the countries the food will be delivered; it hardly feels like labor, but rather a fun, friendly competition.
By the end of our two hour session, SPI packed 42 boxes filled with 9,072 meals to feed 24 kids for an entire year.
